What 2011 brought

Another year flown by, this seems to be happening more often the older I get.

Things I seem have done this year:

• Went to a Fiber Festival & got to pet fluffy bunnies & alpaca
• Knit two baby sweaters & two bunny hats for the twins our friends had in February
• Got to hear Dan Savage speak at Rhodes 
• Make some crooked curtains for my kitchen
• Knit baby items for my own someday-baby-stash
• Got a new range (with convection oven!) 
• Celebrated my thirtieth birthday
• Made strawberry jam
• Planted my annual vegetable garden
• Took a 12-day cross country trip with my husband, visiting relatives, friends, & touristy spots along the way
• Cut (most of) my hair off
• Convinced Doug to get us chickens (chickens have yet to come live with us, Doug has been taking his time working on their house)
• Did some more personal knitting, baby shower knitting, & first birthday knitting
• Had a Halloween knit night at my house
• Knit two sweaters for me

Oh and baked a zillion things, or at least too many to link.

November and December got busy in other parts of my life but I'm hoping that the New Year brings more projects and good news. I have lots of hope about good things and new adventures in 2012.

A very belated Merry Christmas

I've kind of been busy with this other thing I can't yet talk about (soon hopefully) and my blogging time has taken a major hit (as has my knitting/baking time). However with the New Year looming in mere days, I'm hoping to get back into the groove of regular posting/baking/making.
