Here's one knitting thing to cross off my list. I finished and blocked the Francis sweater three weeks ago. Then it got warmer and hasn't been cold enough to wear an alpaca/wool blend sweater. Ridiculous Memphis weather, I'm starting to believe it'll never get cold again.
I really love the way it looks, it's a little longer than I'd like it to be but other than that I'm 100% happy with it. The shape is nice, the yarn is soft and super warm and the pattern is easy. Thumbs up. I finished the curbside lace top in the spring but kept forgetting to take a nice photo of it. Here it is, so far the yarn is holding up well, although I'm more concerned about the lace piece, since it's so delicate.
Two weeks ago I got the Malabrigo I ordered from Little Knits and cast on for my second attempt at the Liesl sweater. The first one was too small so I'm hoping this one will turn out better and will also be quicker since it's worsted weight and knit on US size 11's. This is progress so far, the colorway is Tortuga.
