Tuesdays with Dorie: Chocolate Pudding

Great selection from Melissa of It's Melissa's Kitchen. It was a nice, cool treat since it's so stinking hot outside and no one really wants to turn on the oven. The pudding came together easily, my only problem was that once again my food processor was too small. I made a little bit of a mess. But it cleaned up and the pudding was worth it. It was not the super sweet kind of pudding that comes in a box but had a very rich flavor. I used 2% milk instead of whole and it turned out fine. I topped the pudding with homemade whipped cream and some chocolate shavings. Another hit! Next week's recipe with be Cherry Rhubarb Cobbler, a selection chosen by Amanda from Like Sprinkles on a Cupcake. Off to find rhubarb...

(Sorry for the not great pictures, my camera makes it hard to photograph food!)

Your photograph of the pudding is lovely! A high-class presentation, just right for elevating Dorie's pudding about Jell-O. ;)

What are you talking about-your pictures are great! I love that first shot with the spoon pointing right at me, inviting me to dig in. Sorry about the mess. I also loved your post about the ultra baptist wedding one night, and roller derby the next. Hee hee.

I had the same exact food processor problem! All of a sudden, pudding started seeping out the bottom, and it was like "Oh No!"
Your finished pudding looks great!

LOL @ exploding food processor pic. Personally I think a messy kitchen = better tasting desserts, no? Thats my story and I am sticking to it!

I almost had my pudding leak out too, but luckily the attachment stayed put and didn't come off. The lid made a huge mess on my counter though. I love your pictures! That's a huge serving of pudding, but I'm sure you had no problem finishing it.
